Christmas Light Displays in the Local Area

With the holidays just around the corner, it is the best time to find festively decorated homes in your community that people of all ages will love. Make sure to check out all of these Christmas light displays in the local area that the whole family can enjoy together.

Robert and Nancy Pavel, who have been decorating for 40 years, own the wonderfully lit home at 7416 S. Ovtavia Ave. Their house was featured in “The Best Christmas Decorations in Chicagoland” eight years ago. Their son lives at 7807 W. 74th Place in Bridgeview, and each year there is a friendly competition to see which house has more spirit!

1642 Evergreen Road in Homewood has a beautiful display of lights that the Champlin family hopes will create happiness for everyone who visits. The 10-minute light show is synchronized with favorite holiday music for some cheerful entertainment.

16551 Brigitte Court in Orland Hills is decorated from top to bottom with thousands of lights that dance to seven different Christmas songs. Tune your radio to 91.1 and enjoy the light shows that run from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on weekdays, and 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. on weekends.

9337 W. 170th Place in Orland Park is home to John and Mary Porter who love to decorate during the holiday season. Their decorations include arches of white lights, a lighted tree that plays music, and some well-known TV characters including Dora the Explorer and Winnie the Pooh. Their home is topped off with Santa and his reindeer on the roof!

All of us at Gee Schussler Insurance Agency in Orland Park, Illinois would like to encourage you and your family to visit all of these holiday light decorations this season.
